The ITALIAN TRADE COMMISSION (ICE in Italian) is a government agency with a worldwide network of offices. The agency’s mandate is to promote trade, industrial and technological cooperation, and to publicize economic information on Italy. The ITALIAN TRADE COMMISSION (ITC), also acquires and distributes economic and market information internationally for the benefit of Italian companies. With a Promotional Program, ITC organizes the official participation of Italian companies at major tradeshows, and foreign business delegations to Italian trade shows. ITC is the link between Italian production and foreign demand, by providing companies with information on markets, customs, technical regulations, tax and currency. Foreign companies receive guidance in locating sources for their needs. Information provided free of charge by ITC to foreign companies includes names and addresses of Italian manufacturers, suppliers and representatives, Italian tradeshow details, tariff data, and trade statistics. ITC operates over 100 offices worldwide with headquarters in Rome.
