The PolyPeptide Laboratories Group is one of the world’s largest companies specializing in the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) based on peptides and related substances. The group has five facilities worldwide, one in the USA (California) and three in Europe (Malmo, Sweden Hillerod, Denmark Prague, Czech Republic). Construction on a new facility is underway near Mumbai, India. The Holding Company, PolyPeptide Laboratories BV, which is privately owned, is in the Netherlands. The PolyPeptide Laboratories Group currently employs about 320 staff worldwide. We are a truly multinational company. Our staff come from centers of peptide excellence around the world. This diversity brings an unequalled breadth and depth of knowledge and experience into the Group and ultimately to the benefit of our customers. Over 97% of our business is either GMP peptide manufacturing or pre-GMP peptide development projects. We manufacture a number of generic peptides, but our core business is proprietary peptide API manufacture. We have substantial experience in the commercial (up to multi-10 kg) manufacturing of complex peptide sequences according to cGMP.
